The Illinois Heartland Library System's 5th annual Library Crawl is taking place throughout the whole month of October. The Crawl is a great way to get to know your local libraries and see what they offer! Want to participate? Start by picking up the official Library Crawl passport at Allerton Public Library. Then, travel around central and southern Illinois to visit the participating locations.
Get your passport stamped at the front desk of each library you visit. When you get five stamps, bring in your passport to get a reward from us!
Check out this guidebook to all the towns participating in the crawl.

In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards,
Allerton Public Library District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely
changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
